Roberta Larew Allison grew up in rural Monroe County, West Virginia, in a community called Hans Creek. As the oldest of ten children and from the perspective of 92 years, she is definitely an authority on her family and some of the many changes that have taken place over the past nine decades. During that time she has pursued careers, found romance, raised a family, and taken mental notes on all that has happened around her. Now she has put some of these observations into her memoirs to share with friends and family. Her love of writing and her art of sharing some good stories come through in this concise book.
