In Bully, we see a young man growing up, loving scifi, comics, gifted in school and having to manage a pressure filled world, love from a beautiful mother, and abusive circumstances from nuclear family members as well.
This shapes how he navigates his every world in school, and makes his teenage life quite difficult.
Bully is an excellent read for authentic comic book heads and everday readers who love a good story. In the era where the story is usually all too bleak for Black boys, it enables us to empathize and feel for him.
