But Mama.. WhereÕs Daddy? is GiaÕs big debut! What began as an impromptu effort, slowly blossomed into a childrenÕs book. Gia Washington is a creative childrenÕs author that writes for every single mother going through the challenge of repairing their childÕs heart from challenges in life (divorce, loss/grief, and social differences), while they are also working to heal their own. SheÕs currently working on her sophomore effort entitled ÒYea Though I WalkÓ. We canÕt wait to see what imaginative yarn she weaves next!
Gia has a bachelorÕs degree in English (Creative Writing) from Louisiana State University and a MasterÕs degree from the University of Phoenix. Currently serving for the second consecutive year as teacher of the year (2015, 2016) of an elementary school, she happily writes in her leisure time and shares a rewarding career as a childrenÕs author.
