Maybe I am romanticizing. Maybe I do get stuck in my head. But I love coming across some place and just feeling what it was or is about. ThereÕs a little cabin in the woods I pass almost daily. I smile and think of the people who were proud to call this home. Their kids enjoyed flying about in that tire swing. The majestic oaks offered their arches of grace and protection. The porch shaded them on hot summer's day or protected them as they sat and pondered life on rainy days. I love to think that this little place is thought of fondly,
that the family members smile remembering this their world, their safety, their home. I never met an old house I didn't like. A unique collection of South Carolina photographs and what we gain through appreciation of these places.
