This book is a history of a 43 year friendship and clientship with J. Carson Bowler, architect and solver of difficult design matters. The growth of design desire in a youth, starting at about age 12 is the client's story--the author's. The images included are from Carson's portfolio which was kindly lent by his widow, Carol Bowler. Baowler did many residential and commercial projects at Sea Ranch, CA and Bodega Harbor. He was on the design review board of Sea Ranch for 20 years.
