This is the Newly-Revised 2013 Edition of our Casey-Healy family history book. It was completed in 2023 and adds an Addendum. First published in 2008, it is the account of the family of Edmond R. Casey (b abt 1863) and his wife Mary J. (Healy) Casey (b 1871), of Cambridge, Massachusetts, U. S., both natives of County Kerry, Ireland. Compiled in 2008 by their granddaughters Kathleen (Casey) Aponick and Elaine M. Casey, the book records not only the family and descendants of Edmond (Ned) and Mary but those of their siblings in Ireland, England, the United States, and in the 2013 edition, Australia and New Zealand. It traces what is known of their ancestries: EdmondÕs in northeast Kerry and southern Limerick, and Mary J.Õs in Currow, Kerry. There are remembrances, letters, family graphs, documents, Casey traced back to 103 A.D. by Dr. Albert Casey, and Tales from Currow, Kerry. Some of our early Kerry and Limerick names: Casey, Connor, Shire, Hyfel, Supple, Healy (also as Kerrisk), OÕBrien, Somers, Fleming, and Horan. The 2023 Addendum consists of corrections and new findings up through 2013 including a segment on cousin Michael Brosnan and his family of Kerry in the Irish Civil War. It does not include births, deaths, and marriages occurring after 2013.
