Caswell County was formed in 1777, from the northern part of Orange County. Caswell County was divided in half in 1791, when Person County was formed from the eastern side. The county seat was moved to Yanceyville (from Leasburg). There is only one box of Ejectments and one box of Misc. Land Records (already published).
