I started Champ 2010 out of desperation. My life was a total mess: drunk, depressed, lonely, unemployed, etc. My plan was to draw this daily journal comic for a year and put it online, while abstaining from alcohol. That way I would have the pressure of trying to not look like a jackass loser in front of strangers to keep me motivated. It worked out pretty well. And, although I do drink now a days, it's because I like it, not because I hate the alternative.
