The world we live in creates many challenges and barriers that we, as a society, must take on headfirst and overcome. This book includes articles written by female students at Bay Path University who focused on addressing social challenges that they can relate to on a personal level. These issues include racial bias in the media, the negative effects of sex in marketing, teaching children to use social media in healthy ways, making preschool affordable to low-income families, the fight for parent-friendly preschools, male fathers as effective co-parents, combating the heroin and prescription drug abuse epidemics in the United States, overcoming the glass ceiling by building exceptional businesses, and raising the U.S. minimum wage.
