IC Bono who grew up in Detroit, Michigan, discovered California while serving in the Army in the early 50's and decided to relocate in Los Angeles, California. He goes to college, earns his teaching credential, becomes a high school teacher and goes on to live a comfortable life while going thorough a series of relationships that are sometimes tumultuous but always passionate and loving. Eventually, he settles down and retires in Palm Springs area for the remainder of his life.
