During the 1950Õs Charlton Comics was not above inheriting titles that had previously been
published by other companies. Both POLICE TRAP and DANGER were examples of this. The first
eleven issues of DANGER were produced by Comic Media. Joe Simon and Jack KirbyÕs POLICE
TRAPÕs initial four comics were released by their Mainline Comics line. Although both were good
titles, 1955 was a bad year for the comic industry and Charlton canceled both series very quickly.
Another Charlton series that debuted and was subsequently canceled that year was DANNY
BLAZE, FIREMAN. That title lasted all of two issues and became NATURE BOY with issue three.
Like an island of misfit toys, cobbled together here are the complete Charlton runs of DANGER
(issues #12 to 14), DANNY BLAZE, FIREMAN (#1 and 2) and POLICE TRAP (issues #5 and 6).
THIS BOOK IS AVAILABLE IN BOTH HARDCOVER AND TRADE PAPERBACK AS WELL AS IN FULL COLOR
