Several years ago, I started writing my own Christmas poems. These seemed more meaningful to me and gave me the opportunity to express personal thoughts about Christmas, its history and meaning, and the ways it was
celebrated.
I became surprised by the number of comments I received about these poems, even hearing that some people looked forward to my poems every Christmas. More than just a habit, writing these poems became something I feel called to write each year.
This is a collection of these poems. Most are written in free verse, organized in ways I find appropriate, not wanting to start a movement, just letting me say what I want to say.
