Volume 4 begins with Johann Kšhnken (Koehnken; died 1737) of AltenbŸlstedt (Altenbuelstedt), Duchy of Braunschweig and nearby Bremen including a history of Koehnken pipe organ manufactory in Cincinnati, Ohio; Morris Jacobs (died 1810) of Fauquier County, Virginia whose son John Jacobs fought in the Continental Army during the Revolution and moved to Gallatin County, Kentucky; Richard Breeden (alias Cross; died 1773) of Culpeper County, Virginia including Vest family of North Carolina and Henry and Gallatin counties in Kentucky; Walter Chiles (died 1653) of Jamestown, Virginia with Horsley family; first part of James Whaley (died 1750) family of Richmond County, Virginia, some of whose children moved to Harrison and Bourbon counties in Kentucky.
