This notebook is a complement to lecture in a semester-long course in Comparative Oral+ENT Biology. The course is targeted at senior level undergraduate students preparing for careers in biology, dentistry, medicine or veterinary. It integrates the evolution, diversity, development, structure, function and common clinical aspects of the mouth, ears, nose and throat. The notebook illustrates (> 200 figures) and summarizes the main concepts, leaving blanks in the text and space for drawings that are developed in class. It provides a basic framework for successful note-taking while also saving time that can be used for interactive learning.
