This book is a compilation of work done in Arch571, a graduate-level design course that falls within the Òdetail + FABRICATIONÓ Program Area at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign School of Architecture. The course, instructed by Lecturer David Emmons, explored various physical modeling techniques involving portland-cement concrete. These explorations further evolved into architectural design proposals that were submitted to the 2019 ACSA Built2Last International Student Concrete Competition. All student credits are noted per project.
