This book is a product of our investigation into dichotomies in our city. The 7th grade team at High Tech Middle Media Arts set out on a 23-mile trek through San Diego from Border State Field Park to Juan Cabrillo National Monument in Point Loma. Along the way, we observed and documented dichotomies that we saw in our city. At first, we saw Water vs. Land and Dry vs. Wet as dichotomies, but deeper learning, we were able to see the differences between the past and present in San Diego.
