The majority of CAHs are in Health Professional Shortage Areas and\/or Medically Underserved Areas.Ó Proposals were expected to be lean\/nimble, adaptable\/flexible, healthy\/green, community integrated and employ steel construction. The program is based upon collaborative care delivery, minimal patient movement and resource utilization. Clinical areas consisted of 36,200 BGSF. Relevant community health-oriented spaces were added so final proposals involved a range of between 40-50,000 BGSF.
