The Sr_ Dakhn_ Oank_r is the prayer recited by Sikhs worldwide as part of their ÔPanj Granth_Õ and was recited by the first Gur_, Sr_ Gur_ N_nak Dev J_. This prayer is not read as often as in previous years but Pur_tan Gursikhs used to recite this prayer daily as part of their daily routine.
This commentary is very different. It is a commentary by the great Nirmal_ scholar, Mahant Ganesh_ Singh. Unlike other Nirmal_s his commentaries are basic but the essence of the definitions is not lost within the simplicity. I wanted to provide both the original commentary in Gurmukh_ along with a translation of the commentary. This is because this commentary has been out of print for a significant amount of time and to those seekers of the original commentary it is available again.
