A transcription of William Rutter Dawes' newly discovered third log of telescopic observations along with a copy of the original. Dawes details some 10 years of observations upon telescopes and observations through telescopes. I've amplified this work with some historical notes on the notable figures and instruments met with during the course of the dialog.
