This is a book about my family, beginning in 1881 with my grandmother, continuing from 1905 with my mother, and in 1938 I make the scene. Names and places are accurate, details and scenes are told through letters and journals, even a pre-teen diary makes the cut. Stories are sometimes reconstructed reflecting all memories and family legends and adding sometimes plausible, sometimes whimsical details that might have happened . . . or not.
