Genealogy. The first part of the book contains a compiled lineage, descending system, for the Deguire dit La Rose line from Fran�ois Deguire, a French soldier who came to Canada in 1665, to Emma Deguire of Iron County, Missouri, an eighth generation descendant of Fran�ois. The parentage, life story, and children of each person in the lineage is given. The second part of the book gives compiled lineages, ascending system, of the women whom the Deguire men married. The places where the families lived in the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries include Montreal and Quebec and neighboring towns in Canada, Kaskaskia in what became Illinois, Ste. Genevieve in what became Missouri, and Madison and Iron counties in Missouri.
