This is the tale of a bean with an adventurous heart. She lives in a time when tension is high between the Lilibene village where she lives and the neighboring Redbelly ants. When she sees an ant and bean conspiring together she drops her assignment to follow. This decision will lead her to more adventure and trouble than she could have anticipated.
