This work details portions of the life of Giles Halsey O'Neil and his children. Giles was born in New York and was admitted to the New York Bar there. He spent time in North Dakota and Pennsylvania. He moved to Youngstown, Ohio from a farm he had in Virginia. He died in Ohio, leaving a young widow with four children.
