StalinÕs pamphlet Dialectical and Historical Materialism, originally published in the History of the CPSU(B), is an elementary text to the Marxist-Leninist world outlook and working-class philosophy generally. It opposes dialectics to metaphysics, describing the main characteristics of the Marxist philosophical dialectic and materialism to idealism, describing the main characteristics of Marxist materialism. It outlines many key principles and is thus one of the best all-round educational texts on this subject, however, it does need to be complimented, one will not understand everything just after this pamphlet as it is rather brief. Thus, NEPH will be publishing more philosophical-related texts in the future.
