This is a collection of carefully selected etudes I used
to draw every day. By this visual diary IÕve recorded my
experimental approaches to Middle-Eastern art, I used
Arabic calligraphy, Miniature painting (Negar-gari), folk
objects, Talismans and Geometry as parts of my subject
inspirations. These studies are the result of my curiosity
and skepticism about the identity of Iranian society before
and after the Islamic revolution of 1979.
