This notebook is designed as an open two-page spread to take notes during the worship service. The journal prompts the user to note the date of the service, the color of the paraments, the day of the church year, and the three readings for the day. There is space to note a verse for memorization or reflection, favorite hymn of the day, and also write how the hymn of the day relates to the sermon. A section to note prayers for the day is included. The second page of the two-page spread per day is for notes on the service including the sermon text focus and a blank area to write and/or doodle. There are roughly 52 entries for the year. Originally designed for confirmation students to take notes on the service, it's also a great tool for other children and adults who wish to study further. Consider using your journal notes after service for personal devotion during the week.
