My name is Michael Burke Flynn. I was born December 29, 1919, in Brooklyn, NY, to Michael Aloysius Flynn and Beatrice Burke Flynn. One of my earliest memories is from when I was 3 years old. I remember I lived with my parents on the third floor of a four-story apartment house. My baby sister Monica was in a baby carriage at that time. The Palisades of the Hudson River were nearby, where bigger boys would climb down the steep cliffs and get pigeon eggs. It was a very dangerous thing to do, and I was impressed and have never forgotten it.
