In Ghana, the Street Children meet the Daughters of Charity and a project begins in 2005 by the Archdiocese of Kumasi. Slowly and methodically and with great organization, the outreach begins. In 2018, smiles appear, success is achieved, and sustainability is proved, because graduates come back to help the Project. But the need goes on and on--60,000 children will wander the streets of Kumasi and Accra in Ghana, searching for food and work and education and survival. This is one country in Africa, and one city who is reaching out to educate and inform and provide. There are 120 MILLION children in all of South America, Africa, and India who are wandering to the big cities for survival. They are as young as 5 years old and as old as 18.
