Originally published in French in 1906, this classic science fiction novel was immensely popular, going through many printings over the following decades. It was one of the first novels to talk about using radioactive materials (specifically radium) as a a weapon and interplanetary radio communication. Galopin's Martians are the literary ancestors of the "Greys" of today's UFO cults and it has been suggested that Doctor Omega himself may have been the inspiration for Doctor Who.
This is the first complete, unabridged English translation Doctor Omega. It includes all the original illustrations as well.
