All of my life I have collected and used recipes that were handed down generation after generation in my family. I have also added some of my own, updated and revised some, and created a few. I have collected others from my sisters, in-laws, and friends. This is a compilation of those recipes, from the Doherty, Wexler, and Hawkins, families. I've included some fond memories and pictures, plus nutritional information, trying to calculate servings as close as possible.
Much of the food in this book kept my pioneer ancestors happy and healthy after a hard day's work.
