Doyenne were a fascinating indie band with seriously quick guitar, a punishing rhythm section and artful, charismatic vocals. This book contains a variety of quality in the 250 images as I was using the cheaper brand of films Jessops gave out for free every time you had your films developed there. So there are mixed results, but I have included everything as I am assuming this will be the only Doyenne book ever produced, as they werenÕt around for long.
All of these photos come from 1995, plus a few flyers from 1994/1995). The gigs involved are the Bull & Gate on 23.3.95, 29.4.95, 23.8.95 and 25.10.95, plus Dublin Castle on 16.5.95.
