A verbatim transcription of the original church minute books for Sand Lick Baptist Church (1837-1890) and McClure Baptist Church (1849-1884) located in present day Dickenson County, Virginia. Most of the original pioneers that settled in this general area can be found in these very early church records. Both of these churches eventually became Primitive Baptist.
