ANNA HAHM was born and partially raised in western New York state as a Lutheran, and has transported that oft-times dark existential Calvinism to her adopted home, ultra-Catholic Wisconsin. We all keenly feel the hunger for transformative art and with this volume, you will eagerly align your soulÕs yearnings with AnnaÕs ecumenical, universal (catholic? moral? existential?) imperative that for poetry to be fully and gloriously experienced, one must ingest it.
We must, in fact, eat poetry.
Bon appetit.
