This is one of Stalin's last writings. In it he contrasts the basic economic laws of capitalism and socialism. He also points out that, while individual wars can be avoided, to finally put an end to war one must put an end to imperialism. Finally, he criticizes revisionist policies that would increase, rather than reduce, the sphere of commodity production under socialism. Such policies were put into practice under Khrushchev.
