Case studies of building performance conducted by University of Oregon Environmental Control Systems 1 teams -- as a 5-week project. Case studies are conducted in campus and local buildings on topics related to energy use, thermal comfort, solar performance, shading, indoor air quality, passive and active strategies, materials, and heat transfer. Case studies are presented as a poster and a technical paper. Each project goes through a rigorous technical, peer-review, after which several projects are selected for the Case Study Hall of Fame.
