Case studies of building performance conducted by University of Oregon Environmental Control Systems 1 teams as a 5-week project. Case studies are conducted of campus and local buildings on topics related to energy use, thermal comfort, solar performance, shading, indoor air quality, passive and active strategies, materials, and heat transfer. Work is presented as a poster and a technical paper. Each project goes through a rigorous technical, peer-review, after which several projects are selected for the Case Study Hall of Fame.
