A comic book story in poetic form of a dream where my mother travels to Mexico the country, then Mexico the State, then Mexico the City. She travels on the Metro to Coyahuacan to see the homes where Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo lived and painted. The last two painting by both artists were of watermelons. The story is one of love for my mother, Mexico, and those two famous artists who lived their lives with gusto and passion.
Extensive research was done to capture the homes of Kahlo and Rivera. Photos of the interior are forbidden by the Frida Kahlo museum.
