Elizabeth Moxon published her English Housewifry more than a century before Mrs Beeton's Book of Household Management and ran to fourteen editions. This facsimile of the first edition of 1741 includes an introduction and an assessment by Don Moxon, and is published on behalf of the Moxon Society.
