Emperors of Byzantium is a comedic, dramatized graphic novel of the historical period known in modern times as the Byzantine era. Set in ancient Rome, full of gags, running jokes, and murder. Emperors of Byzantium was created by the father & daughter team of Haefen & Sebastian Hassinger, who don't apologize for any discomfort caused by seeing historical figures whine, joke, cavort, prance and generally make fools of themselves. Book one covers (spoilers!) the period from the death of Marcus Aurelius to the death of Constantine the Great.
