This book is so special in that it is a collection of all of my notes from 8th grade on how to write an essay. Throughout the years of my education from 8th to 12th grade, I carried all of my notes and handouts my English teachers passed out in their classroom. Then, I created a packet for myself and used it in college while I was earning my bachelor's degree and even now as a graduate student at UCLA. Because this packet of notes helped me write and organize my essays I wanted to share it with teachers and students. I wrote and organized this manual guide just for you in which you will learn how to write different types of essays, and improve your grammar skills, write a thesis statement, topic sentences, and cite quotations correctly. I hope this essay manual helps you write and begin essays easier and smoother.
