This book presents a novel approach to teaching Precalculus:
- On one hand, it provides and integrated approach to algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
- On the other hand, the book contains only the topics of Precalculus that are essential for a successful
transition to Calculus.
In addition, a great deal of emphasis is placed on the selection of problems:
- The number of drill problems is reduced to a healthy minimum.
- By contrast, the book contains a large amount of problems that challenge the students to integrate their
knowledge by asking questions whose solutions require integration of multiple concepts.
