A collection of 14 works by English Composer, Betty Roe for various choral forces including two for female voices. The settings include poems by Siegfried Sassoon (Everyone Sang), John Bishop (A Moonlit Scene), Elizabeth Tynan (A Birth-night song), Marian Lines (Blue John) and Kenneth Graham (the carol from The Wind in the Willows).
The collection has 5 Christmas-themed works including the 'Double Carols' where four familiar carols are combined with Marian Lines' Christmas verses to produce satisfying pieces that the audience can join in.
