In EXODUS, STAGE LEFT, Legion Ayers is rescued by the lovely Suhad, courtier to Ramses II, after arriving in Ancient Egypt buried up to his neck in desert sands. His memory impaired, he appears before Ramses II, surviving the Great KingÕs wrath in a scene out of Mel Brooks. Outside the court he meets the prince Moses, then witnesses MosesÕs slaying of the taskmaster. Legion spirits the future prophet out of town, then, exhausted, takes an R&R break at a 1960Õs hippie commune. Refreshed, he returns to help Moses deal with Ramses.
