While it may look almost na•ve now the use of video art onstage back during the early 80Õs was state of the art and cutting-edge artistic manoeuvres, and these chaps were way out there incorporating it into gigs, and making it work. Until they came along the most adventurous thing weÕd seen was The Human League with their slide shows, or bands showing film footage on a backdrop. It also cost them a fortune!
