Industrial buildings are many times designed mainly to enclose the machines and production-line. More emphasis
is given to make project look impressive rather than considering the climatic
conditions, worker's requirement and comfort. The main force behind production, that is humans, are generally
neglected . Attempt is made in this book to give general basic essential
information required for designing a factory in tropical climate for a place
where technology is not that advanced and not easily and economically
available.
