This is the less expensive edition of Falk's Dictionary of Chinese Martial Arts. The characters are a bit smaller and the formatting a bit tighter. The contents are exactly the same. The book size is 6.2x9.2 inches, and through the magic of thinner paper, it is the same thickness of the deluxe edition - a bit over one inch.
As with the other printed dictionaries and the PDF, the Falk's dictionary give the martial meaning of regular characters Ð definitions that are not in normal dictionaries. In addition, there are masses and masses of names and phrases that are not in normal dictionaries at all. Even a dozen or so characters that don't even exist in most dictionaries.
