Farm Boy is the story of growing up in Malin, Oregon in the late 1950's, when there was only one tv station and no internet. Terry Brown was the youngest of four boys and he chronicles their adventures living in a small farmhouse, raising lambs, chickens, pigs, turkeys and milk cows. He sends frogs to the moon, makes frisbee fudge, has go-kart races on Gobbler's Knob and becomes king of the playground. It is a story rich with the flavor of a different time, leavened with the humor of childhood and told in a simple manner that reflects life in rural Oregon 50 years ago.
