Felicia acquires a set of magical daggers and hies away to learn how to use them to further her ambition. But her actions have drawn attention and she soon finds herself under attack from ambitious novices, and followed by someone in the shadows.
After being missing for several years, a young vixen returns with neither explanation or excuse, and possessing a magical prowess as great as any of the most experienced wizards Ñ if not greater.
