The poems in this book bear witness to what is lost, what is rebuilt and what love teaches us as we wade through both uncertainty and events we never anticipated. A year before the pandemic, my daughter asked if IÕd like to pair poems with her photos on a website she aptly named ÒMy Photos, Her Poems.Ó A year later, countries around the world shut down creating global communities living loss in new and frightening ways. Loss. Few human beings escape that grief. In gathering these poems, I came to know the tensile strength that weaves loss and regeneration together into a kind of wayfinding.
