ADN400 serves as an intensive investigation of the tools, techniques, and processes of illustration as it relates to printed material (books). The course aims to develop a foundation for illustration workflow, teach principles and theory of both illustration and visual storytelling.
The studio addresses the entire creative illustration process, from initial concept to final production. The studio will serve as an advanced study of illustration, storytelling, and process.
Creativity in concept and execution, exploration and discovery of the illustration process, as well as precedent will be a major focus of the studio experience.
